Our History
Lisa is the founder and has been the proud owner of Plum since January 2006.
Lisa's career started in the South West, where she trained in two independent salons.
In 1995, Lisa decided to change location in order to continue her professional development and to also expand her creative and technical knowledge. She carried out the next phase of her career in London.
When in London she gained a wide range of qualifications from Jingles International before accepting a teaching position there. Lisa then moved to Tony & Guy education team, working both in the UK and abroad.
Lisa also worked alongside Andrew Barton and after 2 years at Tigi, she took up the position of co-ordinating communication and skills training for the company.
Lisa has also worked for GHD, teaching throughout Devon and Cornwall. She has also worked for L'Oreal teaching on a freelance basis and the Hammersmith Apollo Studio.

Plum @ The Bank is a welcoming professional unisex hair and beauty salon, with a passion for superb customer care, and uncompromising standards in hairdressing.
We offer a wide range of cut, colour and hair care services, to give you hair you will love every single day!
Our fully qualified staff are trained to listen carefully and blend your needs with their in-depth and cutting-edge knowledge and skill.

It is a treat to have a hairdo at Plum.It's a relaxing friendly space-lovely coffee and little cake too. The stylist was professional and did an excellent job- worth every penny. The trainees who do the hair wash etc are very competent and give a lovely head massage.Roll on next month's appointment!
